Who’s responsible?

John Board operates the Johnny’s Bubbles Brisbane soda cylinder swap delivery launch list. Contact johnrobboard@gmail.com for privacy questions, access, corrections or deletion.

What we collect and why

The current form collects your email and self-reported postcode, plus the version and time of your consent when you join. Earlier submissions may contain a selected suburb, resident declaration, soda maker/cylinder type or price-interest response; those original responses are retained under the same retention policy. We do not invent answers to questions the current form does not ask. We use this to verify your email, record your conditional first delivery fee waiver claim, assess launch-list interest by postcode and send the confirmation and launch updates you opted into. Postcodes can cover several suburbs and are self-reported; they do not verify a specific suburb, maker ownership or willingness to pay the displayed price. No payment details or street address are requested.

We also record the first design and price you see, experiment day, an anonymous visitor identifier, referral campaign parameters and timestamps to assess these exploratory tests. A first-party cookie keeps your assignment for up to 30 days. We don’t use advertising pixels or third-party analytics on this page. Your IP address is briefly processed into a keyed hash for abuse prevention; we do not store the raw address in our application database.

Who processes it?

We use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare hosting and D1 storage to run this site and privately store submissions, and AgentMail to send confirmation and service emails. These providers may process information outside Australia. We don’t sell your information. Aggregated campaign results contain no email addresses.

Control and retention

Joining is optional. Email links let you unsubscribe without logging in. Unsubscribing immediately suppresses service emails and removes you from active qualified interest counts. Ask John to access, correct or delete your information. Application lead records expire after 90 days; anonymous experiment visits after 90 days; rate limit records after 24 hours. Expired records are removed during routine site activity. Email delivery records held by the email provider may have their own retention periods; contact John for help with those records.

Confirmation links expire after 48 hours. We store a hash of each confirmation token. A successful confirmation records your first delivery fee waiver claim for launch when service opens in your area. Marketing unsubscribe does not revoke a claim already recorded; it stops future service emails. Cylinder and service eligibility, availability and initial/deposit costs are still to be confirmed. This is launch-list registration, with no payment, booking or obligation to buy. We are comparing three designs, shorter and fuller content, and swap prices of A$10, A$15 and A$20 to assess demand. Your first assignment is kept when possible; prices and final terms will be confirmed before booking. Cookie choices in your browser may affect experiment assignment but you can still submit the form.

Updates

If the purpose of collecting your information changes, we’ll ask before using it for that new purpose. Contact John at the address above if you have a concern.
